Questions are being raised over a cryptic TikTok shared by Eve Wood in the hours after her stepfather, fitness entrepreneur Sam Wood, was charged with domestic violence offences.
Eve, Snezana Wood’s 21-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, was reportedly staying with the family at their luxury Noosa accommodation when police were called to the property on Saturday night.
The TikTok has attracted attention online, with viewers speculating about whether it was connected to the dramatic events unfolding within the family. However, there is currently no confirmed evidence that Eve’s post was referring to the alleged incident or to Sam Wood’s arrest.
Police attended the Hastings Street address at about 9pm following reports of alleged domestic violence. Wood, 46, was subsequently charged with assault occasioning bodily harm in a domestic violence context and strangulation in a domestic setting. He remains in custody and is due back in court on Thursday, when his lawyer is expected to seek bail. Wood’s lawyer has said he will defend the charges.
Witnesses described seeing police and paramedics arrive at the luxury property. One guest said a woman opened the apartment door for paramedics, while another witnessed Wood being questioned by police before his arrest.
The family has said it is cooperating with authorities and described the situation as a difficult time for everyone involved.
